The 'Gay' Agenda

Ever since President Obama 'came out' for gay marriage on May 9th, our local newspaper has received letter after letter to the editor, pro and con on this subject.  Many of the letters seemed to be in favor of this particular lifestyle chastising those who were in opposition as homophobes, bigots, religious wackos, hate mongers, fear mongers, 'fearful' of homosexuals and the list goes on.   As a Christian and firm believer in the word of the Bible I cannot condone this type of lifestyle and I am firmly opposed to young children being taught that it is a valid, alternative to heterosexuality.  I  believe  the President's declaration was politically motivated as well as one more devisive manuever to split this country culturally, racially and socially.  That being said, I want to get to what I believe to be just as much under attack as traditional marriage.

In 1972, the *Gay Activist Alliance National Coalition of Gay Organizations filed its 1972 Gay Rights Platform in the United States which was adopted by the National Coalition of Gay organizations at its meeting in Chicago, Illinois, Feb. 13, 1972.  In a sort of ‘preamble’ to their list of ‘demands’, one of the statements read, “we affirm the right of all persons to define and express their own sensibility, emotionality and sexuality, and to choose their own lifestyle, so long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others.” (emphasis added and I will get back to that shortly).  Their ‘demands’ addressed both federal and state levels and I’ll only cite the ones that I find to be most troubling, e.g.:

Federal demand #6:  Federal encouragement and support for sex education courses, prepared and taught by qualified Gay women and men, presenting homosexuality as a valid, healthy preference, lifestyle, and as a viable alternative to heterosexuality.

State demand #3:  Repeal all state laws prohibiting solicitation for private voluntary sexual liaisons; and laws prohibiting prostitution, both male and female.

State demand #6:  Repeal of all laws prohibiting transvestitism and cross-dressing.

State demand #7:  Repeal of all laws governing the age of sexual consent.

State demand #8:  Repeal of all legislative provisions that restrict the sex or number of persons entering into a marriage unit; and the extention of legal benefits of marriage to all persons who cohabit regardless of sex or numbers.

Referring back to “…..so long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others” – what does that mean exactly?  Does it mean as a Christian I still have the right to declare that homosexuality is a sin according to my religious belief or does their ‘right’ transcend my ‘right’ to freedom of religion and speech?

Does it mean, as in  Federal demand #6, that I still have the ‘right’ to not want my child to be taught about this ‘viable alternative to heterosexuality’, or in

State demand #7, do I have the ‘right’ not to have my child witness the growing trend of cross-dressing by boys who think they are girls?

In State demand #7, is this the lead-in to pedophilia?

State demand #8 throws all semblance of decency out the window and  institutes polygamy.

This is why heterosexuals are accused of being ‘homophobic’?  More than marriage is at stake here.  Our God tells us to love all, He doesn’t tell us we must love all that someone does.  Our silence  and 'tolerance' has aided and abetted their agenda.

A complete list of their 'demand' agenda can be found at FBI FOIA Gay Activists Alliance File Number: 100-469170.
