"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Legislative power is granted to the Congress; Executive power is vested in the President and Judicial power is granted to the Supreme Court. It all seems pretty clear cut to me! Congress makes law; President signs/executes law; Supreme Court makes decisions according to law.
OH, WAIT....

We have a President who does not now nor has he ever had any high regard for the law except knowing it well enough to know how to circumvent it or, even, break it. Fortunately (or not) the first term of this President was a slow lead-in which many people didn't pay attention to and he really needed a second term to complete the 'kill'. Yes, I call it the 'kill' because that is exactly what he is doing - killing the America we all knew and loved raising in its place a decadent society with all its accompaniments. By our silence, we are acquiescing and so is Congress.
So, has he "insured domestic tranquility"? Unless you consider causing dissension among the citizens by creating class war, heightening racial tension, and allowing an unchecked breach of our southern borders to be an ok situation - the answer would be a resounding NO!
Has he "provided for the common defence"? Only if you believe negotiating with terrorists by releasing 5 of their highest military figures from Gitmo for one possible American deserter or if you don't care that we now have hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants pouring through our 'open' borders at a rate never before seen or heard of - the answer would be another resounding NO!
Has he "promoted the general welfare" of American citizens? No he has not. He issues Executive Orders to his alphabet soup government departments to come up with regulation after regulation to ham-string businesses, create barriers to new job creation and generally make life miserable.
Preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States of America carries a great burden which this President has not met and which he will not attempt to meet. It isn't his objective. His objective is and has always been to make America a third world country.
When it comes to the breach of our borders, this is what Article IV, Section 4 has to say about that:
"SECTION 4. The United states shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence." [emphasis mine] Somehow, I get the feeling that the only part of this section he is likely to enforce would be the last 3 words.

"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." That includes the lawless U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder.
